In general, eating vegetables is good for you. So many people might think it’s obvious that plant-based meat is healthier than regular meat. But that’s not quite true.

Plant-based meat is absolutely safe — but it’s not a health food. While there’s a lot of uncertainty in nutrition science, and meatless meat may avoid the cancer risks of red meat, for the most part, it isprobably about as good for you as the meat it’s imitating.

So because of this, we created our own Healthy Meatless Alternative. Introducing our Black Bean & Brown Rice Veggie Burger served on a brioche bun with mixed greens, tomato, red onions, marbled cheddar cheese and house sauce. Currently it is featured on our Weekly Luncheon Market Sheet, but will be coming on as a regular to our upcoming new menu items this September.
